The Meeting Room
Supporting members during lockdown
GAN offered “The Meeting Room” as a positive online place to come together, to connect and to establish a safe, containing space in which to think and reflect.
The group originally began at the beginning of the pandemic, as a means of GAN offering a reflective space in which group members could come together to think and talk about their experiences of living and working in uncertain and confusing times.
The group started with a large fluctuating membership of over thirty but over time, it developed into a small, stable membership. As the group evolved it become a place in which members considered the personal within the professional, recognising that differing environments often don’t allow time or opportunity for thought and reflection.
The group was facilitated by Mandy Wildman, the GAN Development Officer and it was offered free to GAN members.
