Group Analysis North’s Board of Trustees awards small bursaries each year to those who are disadvantaged by hardship, including those on a low income, or who come from BAME or other under-represented backgrounds or those who work in under-represented sectors. Bursaries are awarded for one year only and are allocated to those students who would not be able to access the training without financial support. Typically the amount of bursary equates to 15% of the course fees.

In addition GAN provides scholarships for those applying for the Diploma and Qualifying Courses. The organisation also offers fee-assisted places to employers in the voluntary or charitable sectors who wish to support their staff to train in groupwork.

GAN offers flexible payment plans for all course and can offer payment holidays if students find themselves in unexpected financial hardship.

See the attached file for criteria for fee-assisted places and how to apply and view our policy here.

A limited number of bursaries are also available from the Harry Guntrip Trust.
