The Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) (London) and Group Analysis North (GAN) have joined together to offer an integrated training in Group Analysis. The three courses offered: Foundation Course, Intermediate, and Qualifying, provide different levels of training and run together on ten block weekends in the year.

Following the completion of both the Intermediate and Qualifying courses, students may apply to stay on in therapy - only should they wish to. In addition, those students who have completed the one year Intermediate course may also apply to stay on in the work reflection group for an additional period of time.

Annual Introduction to Groupwork Workshop
A one day workshop, usually held in April or May each year offers you the chance to:
find out more about yourself in relation to others and;
look at how people interact within groups in the workplace and in every day life.
The day will consist of a presentation followed by an experience of different groups, including a large unstructured group, a discussion group and a small experiential group which will be led by an experienced Group Analyst.

“The visiting team felt that the structure of the training, the organisation and the provision of training was excellent……..”

“…..the visiting team was impressed by the level of creativity within the well structured training course …”

“The trainees themselves described the experience on the block weekends of training as being part of a training community… They talked of feeling contained, even when feeling extremely challenged, which is healthy and conducive to learning.”
